Do you have the system requirements as listed here? If you do, and are having problems on Windows, please post back to the forums and let us know the symptoms, and we will try to help you out.

I thought that the appgen tool had been built for linux and not for windows. When I call it in windows nothing happens except that the dos cursor is jumping around. It works ok in linux I have jdk 1.5 26 and python 2.6 installed.

You are right that we do our development under various flavors of Un*x, but we use tools (java, ant, python) that are available on Windows as well. I'll try to replicate your problem under Windows and let you know what I find.
